J’Riegn

I had the pleasure of designing a full website for the e-commerce woman’s clothing store J’Riegn. Some of the deliverables from the digital product I created included: Web Design, Brand Identity, User Testing, and Copywriting.

Overview

Year: 2023

Role: Lead UX Designer

Client: J’Reign Owner

Challenge:

J’Reigns owner Jasmine was having a hard time translating her vision of her company to her website. After a few months of trying to build her website-Jasmine decided it would be easier to outsource help to bring her full vision to life.

Problem Statement:

How might we improve J’Reigns online presence with an emphasis on accessibility and affordability?

My Approach:

Methods: Weekly 1:1 alignment meetings, mood boards and design reviews.

  • Next, I created a mood board so I could brain storm and make sure we were really pinpointing Jasmines vision.

  • I asked her to send me a few websites that inspired her.

  • I pulled from our previous conversations and the content she sent me.

  • I wanted her to get excited about her website and to be able to visually see the possibilities.

Goals:

The objective of these coffee chats was to cultivate a relaxed atmosphere for getting to know my teammates and to understand:

  • Their preferred methods of collaborating with team members.

  • Their expectations for this project.

  • Any specific areas they are interested on gaining a deeper understanding of during this project.

  • Whether they perceive any current blind spots.

  • Their favorite team experiences thus far in their careers.

Solution:

  • J’Reign is currently working with two vendors in the clothing business to establish there online business. The company aspires to have their mens clothing and accessory shop open soon.

They would like to work to continue building the companies online store and improving user accessibility.

J’Reign’s website is now live and Jasmine is very happy with the final product .
