Overview

I had the please of designing a content page for United’s Digital Technology Team. The ask of this project was to create a page to increase traffic and awareness of current job opportunities at United. Within this process of ideating and then eventually creating, I wanted to make sure we put the user at the forefront. Creating an easy and seamless experience.

My Approach

Pen to Paper

At the start of every project, I always put pen to paper. Getting my thoughts down on the paper. This helps me with empathizing with the user and the discovery phase.

Creating Digital Wireframes in Sketch

Then I moved one to creating wireframes in Sketch. Ideating and working with a fellow designer to get the ideas flowing. Once implemented the feedback I received, I went to high fidelity mock-up.

Next Steps: Continuous Iterations.

We received feedback from our team that- there has not been enough traffic. Our solution, for now, was to work with our copywriter to change the language. Also, we wanted to highlight what United is currently doing and what working with United would be like.

Next steps: There’s a big pain point in why this page still does not have enough traffic. We’re going to look at the data and test the page internally.
